InterShoot 2026.
1976 - 2026
Fifty years ago, in 1976, a group of volunteers began organizing an international air pistol and air rifle match. They established a foundation and named it InterShoot. Since then, a great deal of experience has been gained in organizing this event. With the exception of 1983, 2021, and 2022, the competition has been held annually. This year marks the 47th edition of InterShoot.
The Board of InterShoot would like to warmly welcome all athletes, coaches, trainers, and of course all supporters who will travel to The Hague, The Netherlands. A special welcome goes to the shooters who are participating in this international competition for the first time.
This year, we are pleased to welcome athletes from Belgium, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Great Britain, India, Ireland, Jersey, Luxembourg, Mongolia, Morocco, Norway, Portugal, Sweden, the USA, Wales, and The Netherlands. At the time of writing, a total of 201 athletes from 18 countries are registered.
The competition will take place from 5 to 7 February, over three consecutive days. During this time, top sportswomen and sportsmen from around the world will compete for medals and the honour of standing on the podium, while also gaining valuable international competition experience.
Our highly appreciated volunteers will do their very best to make this event special for everyone and will be ready to assist whenever needed. Their support is available not only during the competition but also in the period leading up to the event. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
The organizing committee — David Hoogstraat, Taeke Spinder, Marieke van der Weide, Walter Jaegermann, and myself — will do everything possible to ensure that the 2026 competition is of the highest quality.
