After almost 25 years of use of the current ranges, InterShoot has constructed new shooting ranges. The old ranges were constructed in the old days of paper targets, hence were constructed fairly strongly to be able to cope with the hundreds of transport strings. Obviously with today’s electronic targets, this is no longer needed.
The new ranges are lighter, more compact, take up less space in storage and are easier to set up. Also, the InterShoot ranges are often used by others, such as the KNSA and RIAC, so transportation is an issue as well and used to require a lorry or a large trailer.
On the 17th of November InterShoot had a trial run to 'train' our volunteers to set up the range. Below is a photo impression of the trial run. The new ranges will be used for the first time at InterShoot 2017.
