The competitors at InterShoot shoot their matches either with Air Pistol or Air Rifle. A Men and Junior Males match consists of 60 shots that have to be shot in 1 hour and 45 minutes, a Women and Junior Females match consists of 40 shots that have to be shot in 1 hour and 15 minutes.

The best 8 competitors from the details will shoot an 'Olympic Final', whereby finalist will shoot 10 shots, on command, whilst each shot has to be fired within a 75 seconds time limit. Each shot is now counted with an accuracy of 0.1 of a point, the highest being 10.9. The finals score is added to the details score and decides the overall winner.
